Our association hosts the TETSU-1 GRAND PRIX every two years as one of the key initiatives to enhance skills, which are the foundation of responsible rebar construction.
High-caliber skilled workers, who have advanced through preliminary competitions held across Japan, gather in one place to compete in precision techniques and speed. The top rebar construction professional in the nation is crowned champion and awarded the prestigious Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Prize.

CCUS Skill Evaluation (Level Assessment)
The Construction Career Up System (CCUS) level assessment is a framework that evaluates and visualizes the skills and experience of individuals working in the construction industry, categorizing them into four levels:
Level 1 (Beginner or Unassessed Worker):
Primarily for newcomers or inexperienced individuals who have just entered the construction industry.
Level 2 (Standard Skilled Worker):
Workers with at least three years of experience who can perform standard tasks based on required qualifications.
Level 3 (Intermediate Skilled Worker):
Workers with over seven years of experience who possess advanced qualifications, can provide guidance on-site, and take responsibility for their work.
Level 4 (Highly Skilled Worker):
Workers with more than ten years of experience who hold top-level qualifications and serve as core personnel supporting the site with advanced skills.
These levels are determined based on qualifications, work history, and on-site achievements and are recorded on a personal CCUS card. This information is utilized to enhance the evaluation and treatment of skilled workers across the industry.

Visualization and Evaluation of Construction Capabilities in the Rebar Construction Industry
The “Visualization and Evaluation of Construction Capabilities” in the rebar construction industry is a system designed to objectively and transparently showcase the construction capabilities of rebar contractors. This evaluation aims to facilitate the selection of appropriate contractors by clients and prime contractors.
Objectives of the Evaluation:
- To make contractors’ construction capabilities and reliability more visible, ensuring they receive fair evaluations.
- To improve the overall quality of the industry and promote proper contracting and construction practices.
